The American Eskimo Dog can get bored easily if not kept entertained, and this can lead to destructive behavior. These dogs are intelligent and quick to learn, but can also be very independent and strong willed.
Grooming :
During the times when his shedding is at its heaviest you will need to brush his coat on a daily basis. These dogs are heavy shedders, and therefore not best suited to those with allergies.
