Temperament :
English Bulldog is amongst the gentlest of dogs. They are absolutely wonderful with children and elderly. They are amazing clowns and will do just anything to make you laugh. This breed is good with family pets, but some can be scrappy with strange dogs. The Bulldog has excellent guarding abilities but will only bark when absolutely necessary.
Grooming :
The occasional combing or brushing with a firm bristle brush will suffice. This breed is considered to be an average shedder, normally shedding twice a year.
Exercise :
The bulldog is not a particularly active breed, but a daily walk is recommended. This dog should not run or walk long distances, and it is very sensitive to hot, humid weather.

4 - 5 puppies ? Due to their large heads most are born by Caesarean section.
