Temperament :
The dogs are friendly, bold, and confident. Shyness is very atypical, as is aggressiveness. Intelligent and independent minded, especially when going after prey, they are quick to learn and easy to train!!!
Grooming :
The coat needs to be plucked three times a year. Excessive hair around the pads of the feet must be trimmed and the ears must be kept clean.
Exercise :
Lakeland Terriers are active go-getters. They must have regular opportunities to vent their energy and to use their busy minds to do interesting things.
