Weight :

Males 110 – 140 lbs (50 – 65 kg), Females 110 – 130 lbs (50–60 kg)

Height :

Males are at least 30 inches (77 cm), Females are at least 28in (72 cm) (28 in)

Color :

yellow, fawn, red, black, wolf color and deer-color; also appreciated are the combined colors like brindle, parti-colored or dogs with a white collar.

Temperament :

Spanish Mastiffs are in general, quite independent by nature, not very affectionate dogs and are rather aloof, even to their owners. They are also dignified, noble and not overly demonstrative. However, in spite of that, these dogs are loyal and really do love you, will sacrifice his/her own life to protect you, your family or your livestock, when necessary. In general, the Spanish Mastiff is very mistrustful of strangers, both human and canine.

Grooming :

Occasional brushing with a rubber brush will keep the coat in good condition.

Exercise :

They have a fairly low activity level and need only a moderate amount of exercise. Daily walks will keep them fit.
