Temperament :
In its homeland Tibetan Spaniel was a valued companion dog in the monasteries and among the aristocrats. Assertive, highly intelligent, aloof with strangers. Alert, loyal but independent.
Grooming :
Topcoat silky in texture, smooth on face and front of legs, of moderate length on body, but lying rather flat. Undercoat fine and dense. Ears and back of forelegs nicely feathered, tail and buttocks well furnished with longer hair.
Exercise :
He is well adapted at the indoor life if he can go for a walk every day. He is very quiet at home, he shares the sofa with other members of the family, humans and animals
